Wilmot's Warehouse is still one of my favorite games of all time and this article had me laughing (Only sadists organize by color and I stand by that.)

a two panel comic. in the first one, my deer character is standing in a completely dark area saying "how will I make it through this dark cave?" then she hears "I can help!" in the second panel, she exclaims "W-wilmots warehouse!" (as if that's just his name.) He is a bright white cube who's glowing in this art, with a smug look on his face while saying "I'm working it out!"

🦌I think if you played Wilmots Warehouse on a CRT wilmot would probably have a big glow around him because of how the beam works

Something I miss about working on I am Dead is getting to do real world research (with a lowercase r). Going to little museums, reading Wikipedia pages on weird obscure stuff, nattering about stuff that interests you... and then getting to put it into a videogame: it's fun!

@hollowponds.bsky.social really nailed the "cozy" vibes with this game with some really clever puzzles. The story however is what really brings it together with an extremely kind and wholesome ending.

Hi Andy, there is no spoken dialogue in the game beyond some noises made by the characters when you speak to them, things like thinking noises or grumpy sounds so yeah, everything should be captured by the subtitles/dialogue UI.

A tabby cat with a white tummy sits on a bin looking down at a black cat sitting on the ground. They are hanging around the back of the kipper smoking shack in Shelmerston, which is a location in the videogame I am Dead.

the best part of this game is finding yourself mimicking the noises back at the all little guys like you would do when out on a hike 🔊🎵🎶
