I really don't push especially high protein TBH. I eat more intuitively. Lotta soymilk, tofu, legumes, nut butters, plant meat, sometimes a shake if I'm craving protein that day. But you don't really need super high protein to build muscle IMO. It's just hard on your kidneys with no real benefit.

I'm trying to work on not holding on to people out of some sense of inertia. And just letting them fall out of my life. No room for neutral mediocrity. I want only cool people who substantially improve my life.

I hate the idea that you need some sort of big legitimizing impetus to break up with someone. Literally just "I'm not particularly feeling it anymore IDK why". Is a valid reason

If you don't want to be in the relationship anymore then you should break up with them. You shouldn't have to have a specific substantial why. You don't owe them that.

Because the thing is. You should want to only be in a relationship with someone who wants to be in a relationship with you. Therefor if they no longer want to be in a relationship witb you. You should want them to communicate that so you aren't with someone who doesn't want to be with you. If you want someone to stick around who doesn't want to... Something is wrong with you.

Don't stick around because you feel like you need some sort of story to explain why you left before you can leave. Just go.

There is no such thing as a bad reason to break up with someone. If you want to break up you want to break up. Period. Your feelings and consent are the only thing that matters.

The best time to arm yourself was a decade ago. The second best time is now!

And I think both are based and good. I would ideally like both a visible threat of openly armed people. And the threat of secretly armed people.

I think there's sort of two seperate strategies.

Creating a visibly armed block of people so as to wield collective political power via the threat of being armed (the Black Panther strategy)

And individual self defence. Where secretely conceal carrying is almost always the best play.

At the end of the day what I see is good people talking themselves out of being empowered to dismantle injustice.

While bad people talk themselves into being empowered to enforce injustice.

And that dynamic has to stop.
