Voici l'évolution des performances CPU HDG x86 sur 25 ans: depuis 2000, elles se sont améliorées de x21 en single-thread et de x682 en multi-thread (PassMark)

Je me suis amusée à faire un anti-cheat basique en C++:
- Checksum léger
- Chiffrement léger (XOR)
- 2 copies de health
- Allocation et relocalisation mémoire dynamique

C'est un peu brouillon, mais c'est amusant de tester ^^

Intel launched the Pentium processor in 1993. Unfortunately, dividing sometimes gave a slightly wrong answer, the famous FDIV bug. Replacing the faulty chips cost Intel $475 million. I reverse-engineered the circuitry and can explain the bug. 1/9

Intel's Pentium processor (1993) can compute sines, logarithms, and other special functions. To do this, it has a ROM with 304 floating-point constants. I reverse-engineered this ROM and extracted the constants. You can see pi in the ROM, binary 11.001001..., encoded in the transistor pattern. 1/n
