Today's so weird. All these goodbyes. The familiar system and years of my files are going to be blown away. And it feels like some part of me is dying. I've left every other place I've worked, this is the only one that had to let me go (and there's no fault to place). I really liked my job :(

Have had the 'industry vibes are bad' feeling for years, so I've been making my universe as stable as I could until it came for me.

Plus I padded the fun money account a little. Chances of getting decent vacay time in the foreseeable future are none, so I'll do it now! Life worries resume in 2026.

Welp, today is my last day of work. I got laid off. I've been at this company since 2018, it's the longest I've ever stayed with one employer. There were a lot of people let go, and the more I hear about the quality of people gone, the more it's just a sad reflection of the industry rn :/

I'm so excited for thiiiissss. ACNH really saved me from the 2020 covid depresh, I'm so glad to have a mammoth reason to come back.
