Inflatable costumes are no joke in this heat. I was normally attired (in Austin) with a hand fan, and I sweated down all my back and front and got a little barfy.

I feel that some of you need regular reminders of how unpopular this man is. And frankly I see him getting even more so as the economy worsens. Again, this doesn't mean that he will give up any power but it does mean that WE HAVE POWER TOO.

Just to say: I have menstruated for 42 years,* sometimes in public and with the heaviness of perimenopause, and I have no issue sharing public bathrooms with trans women.

I don't look at anyone's hands at the sink because if you are washing, that's good enough for me.

I am a STREAMING FOOL, but I also get e-books from the library. It is not unlike "streaming" them! And I can adjust the brightness and display (for accessibility reasons).

They also have streaming services like Hoopla and Kanopy. I dipped a toe into Hoopla, and Kanopy is next.

I'm going to keep my current ride until the wheels fall off, but I am curious about small electric pickups.

My high school squeeze had a 1980 Ford Courier, and it was just about the perfect vehicle. And it was brown. Make something like that, but electric?

Apropos of nothing in particular, I met, like, twelve extremely online young transgender women this weekend when I visited my daughter. And they were all perfectly lovely people. We went thrifting and had brunch.

One of the things my daughter has taught me is to have Narcan on hand. She carries it in her backpack.

I don't go out much (for reasons) but we did get Narcan for free from a place, and I can toss it in my big old East Texas Lady Purse.

I'm literally stuck in Texas caring for an elderly relative with dementia while all my (other) money goes to support my trans daughter in a blue state, but go off about how I'm not an American.
