Totally agree with this!
The riggers I know always ask their clients if they need any help setting stuff up 🤍

On the other hand, not tweaking it may do the same thing. Make the rig and the rigger look bad.

So might as well not stop people from making the model comfortable to them and their own quirks.

End of rant (sorry!)

I understand the concern: A client may tweak things badly and indeed ruin a good rig and then the rigger may be blamed for it and called out for doing a bad job.

But that's also why riggers do showcases, to show their work's quality as is "by default", which people should see before attacking them.

Sadly, I know a few riggers tell their clients they shouldn't touch anything not to "ruin their work" 😔

But if the rigger tuned the model to their face and the client has the opposite type of face, for example...
...it's just not gonna be great.

Oh and if you simply use a webcam for tracking, there's also calibrations you can do 🤍

This goes for everyone!
So don't be afraid to explore and tweak things ~

If you have to move across the room to get a visible expression... your rig isn't tuned.

Your comfort fuels your performance ✨
Don't skip calibration!

Even a good rig can underperform if you don't adjust the sensitivity parameters to your face structure and comfort ~
