4 home-buying tips from my CNN interview:

2. Drive 'til you qualify. Venture out further for cheaper homes & to qualify 4 a mortgage.

DO apply for FEMA/federal aid but DON’T count solely on the feds.
Tap into local/regional aid from nonprofits like Team Rubicon, Red Cross & the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster Relief (VOAD).
They give immediate food, shelter, $$ etc.
