these thoughts, though I'm not saying people are wrong for having an opposite opinion.

private groups and conversations I think some people want, though I'm not sure if they just don't want to go to another platform or don't want to share it to where they can't say no if certain people join.
Because making a new, private account, wouldn't be much different.
