Simon doesn't understand why they went out of their way to spend time with him even though he'd quite coldly brushed them off with a lame excuse. Somehow this qiet moment makes his chest feel warm that has nothing with the blanket draped around his shoulders.

Gaz has taken his spot at the coffee table comfortably sitting with Soap's legs slung over his shoulders while the two comment on the movie, Soap practically glued to Ghost's side and Price on the opposite side of him on the armchair from where he can easily keep an eye on all his boys.

That's how he finds himself now, sat on the couch with a warm bowl of creamy chicken soup in his hands, a movie playing on the tv he has never seen and his mates sprawled around the living room.

"look mrs Evans it's late" he started grumpily "och, don't be such ah grump, Lt." A voice that was definetely too low and scottish sounding to be his neighbour interupted him making Ghost look up.

About an hour into his reading his doorbell rang. He tried to ignore at first, not feeling like dealing with who was behind the door, he suspected it was his neighbour. The knocking didn't stop though and eventually it frustrated Ghost enough to get out of his warm cocoon and open the door.

In his defense; having to get dressed, take public transport just to go to a pub that would end up being too loud felt like a chore. So he hadn't thought much when his phone kept vibrating on the little coffe table, the team had probably continued making plans for the evening without him.

He wasn't proud of it, but despite agreeing to plans during one of the 141's rare leave time Ghost had ended up staying curled up under his blanket with tea and a book. He'd given them a bullshit excuse about having a cold, put his phone down and gotten cozy on his couch.
