i played Persona 5 for like 10 hours today um...

its almost like I really REALLY like the game or something idk

technicals aren't ideal but if an enemy doesnt have a weakness (or you cant hit a weakness) they're lifesavers

i knew i needed them back in Kaneshiro's palace but you get so little money on Merciless i just couldn't afford even one🤣

and yeah, and the best physical abilities are the ones that can cause ailments imo (so you can get technicals off, which doesnt knock enemies down but does a ton of damage)

at least I have the money to at least get Ren an SP adhesive now...

i tried to drag it out as long as i could but i had no SP, no items, everyone was at 1hp...and then it gave me another Mot fight...

having to do Futaba's palace in two trips feelsbadman

and I had to leave so close to the end too😫

yeah from what I've seen its about setting the right tactics and stuff which is ok, if the other party members had free reign of what they did then i'd think it would suck

and im so used to just being able to command everyone it would definitely be an adjustment lmao

i'm at least thankful i can control all my party members unlike FES🤣

merciless on vanilla is what it says on the tin - *actually* merciless and WILL test your skills (and patience lmao)

and if you get ambushed? instantly dead

the P5 merciless experience is basically desperately trying to get from safe room to safe room and hope you dont die on the way (and lose like 10-15 minutes of progress, multiple times bc you keep messing up a particular encounter)

by the time I got to Futaba's palace in Royal on merciless i had SP adhesives, was pretty strong so most enemies could be killed in one party turn etc etc

in P5 merciless I'm STILL fighting for my life every encounter and SP management is HELL (I have nowhere near enough money for SP adhesives)
