But I decided: Why stop there? Moonlight has support to run scripts before and after a connection is started. So what can we do with this?

By connecting a dummy hdmi plug, I can create a screen that'll be streamed over to the phone, only when it's connected. This avoids Windows' windows shenanigans

Naturally I started looking into Steam link, but found something a lil better. It's called Moonlight, and it can stream to the phone in 120hz, full phone resolution, it even supports gyro, and has a few things that will help us later
