To be fair, getting the necromancer title is ass. There is so much you have to contend with going 200 floors deep. RNG giving you nothing but constant gloom floors, the game imploding upon itself, bad wanderer patterns, unlucky luring placement, pomander drought.

Additionally, as the worse case scenario, popular plugins might get handed off to a community dev who *seems* trustworthy, only to start pushing poison commits when they get the keys to the castle. Just one of the wonders that can happen if you keep carrying on like this.

Unironically, I would not be surprised if the next Mare ends up being a payfor service on top of your sub, for two goddamn reasons: Hosting costs, and making sure you act NORMAL. Truth be told, I was surprised mare wasn't exclusively payfor, since that's a shitload of bandwidth usage.

Plugins are a double privilege. A privilege afforded to us by SE looking the other way, and of developers consuming passion to bring us something nice. You are entitled to NEITHER. If you can't treat developers like people, then don't be surprised if they decide to stop, or to paywall.

I agree with all of this. My ass thinks Calamity is honestly kinda terrible tbqfh after playing through it. Over-reliance on worm type bosses, projectile spam out the ass that require micromanaging flight because they nerfed the empress insignia and RoD/RoH, anemic weapons vs bosses...

My xiv confession is that I think Krile got screwed over this expac for screentime, and that maybe the scions could actually sit an expac out. What's the point of being disbanded if everyone shows up at the drop of a linkpearl to deal with stuff anyway?
