Never be a compelling reason for change as we have already seen. Costs are all that matter when it comes to energy. Personal opinion is to focus all our efforts on making alternate options the cheapest and obvious choice. There two biggest areas to focus there are on battery technology and nuclear.

Sufficient energy to many use cases. Nuclear has none of the limitations and a very good cost profile for fixed. For portable hydrogen or batteries.

What the heck is this opinion on podcasts. They are an old format going back to the mid 90s and predate the iPod. Also they existed before that. Cassette tape interviews were distributed by mail. Sometimes free with ads. And, radio interviews go back to the 1920s.
