My mum rarely used pepper in her cooking, so it wasn't a spice I even really thought to buy when I moved out. But then every guest I had wanted to put pepper on everything and I was like, oh right, duh

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing releases weekly figures for Covid cases and fatalities in aged care homes across the country. In the week ending 12 June, there were 16 deaths, meaning figures more than doubled for the following reporting period. Figures also show a steady increase in total Covid cases – for the week ending 29 May, there were 967 reported infections. For the week ending 19 June, there were 1,414. NSW Health issued warnings earlier this month that Covid cases were rising across the state, with large increases among people aged 90 and over. At the time Dr Jeremy McAnulty said: While most people have already received their primary course of Covid vaccinations, we’re urging people, especially those aged 65 and over, to get a booster to protect themselves.

Day 7? Pink. I know I have better, more elaborate pink clothes than this shows, but I'm not feeling it. 1:45pm. I only wanted to do this challenge for a week but I haven't done red, orange, white or brown yet, so will continue from Sunday! (have a hobbit themed picnic tomorrow)

Outfit details: dark purple beret with neon yellow punk patches on it, black curls tumbling out of it, purple lipstick and subtle eyeshadow, long purple linen scarf with gold stitching on the ends, purple knit sweater dress, with a funky patterned button shirt peeking out the collar, purple fingerless gloves, and purple ripped tights.

Day 6: Purple! Got out of bed 11:15am. (housemate is out of the house lol that's probably why). I keep almost remembering what I'm supposed to be doing, and then it leaves me again :)💜

Day 5: baby blue? Time isn't real so I have no concept of what time i got up. I don't think this is working for my mood lol but at least posting my outfit is making me get out of bed PERIOD. (Orange tshirt is drying my hair, just pretend it's blue.)

Day 4: Blue. Got up 11:50am. I think actually a huge part of me not wanting to leave my room is because most days i don't have the energy for small talk with my housemate 🥲 on days like today, where she's working in the office, I am free to roam the house and garden as i please 💙
