As for the price, I'm not exactly making real money off the game, but people take things more seriously if they pay for it. Anyway, I also offer those free copies for people who really can't pay.

Daybreak is an exciting, well-balanced game, but I couldn't keep playing it because of that gap between the picture it painted and the reality I saw. I appreciate reading how Leacock sees that gap.

When I first found out from @ipr.bsky.social, I was dubious (not about IPR), because -- well, because they didn't even know how to contact me, and The Bonsai Diary is this little zine as compared with, y'know, last year's winner (Yazeba's B&B) and fellow 2026 Finalist Daggerheart.
