Finished The Paper. I liked it but I didn’t love it. I don’t know why they tied it to The Office, felt like it just could’ve been its own thing. The character development felt very rushed. Did we really need romance arcs already? Idk, anyways, Esmeralda was my fav character, girl had me cracking up.

YES! I loved that framing too. That the god that the Cylons believed in was our mainstream god, and the ones the humans believed in are the old mythological gods and goddesses. Which was real and which was just folklore, with “evidence” and belief to both. It’s amazing.

I always find it fascinating that I’m a very anti-religion person, but I gravitate toward shows with heavy religious themes. Battlestar, my all time favorite show, is LOADED with religious themes and its literal main plot relies on the belief that there is a god or gods.

Honestly I just wished they had actually leaned into the War with the Gorn plot they built up in the S2 finale. Could’ve been a powerful season. But instead they just wrapped it up with a nice little bow in the first fifteen minutes of episode 1 😭 like what??

Finished season three of Star Trek SNW, and honestly what a disappointing season wasted on that dumb ass lovey story for Pike. We all knew she was gonna die. I hope the last two season step it up and get back to some actually interesting story arcs.
