I had heard references to bad behavior at the Ryder Cup but couldn't find any details. This is absolutely shocking and sickening. But in a moment when some men are openly discussing stripping us of our rights and actively blaming us for the "state of the world" we're likely to see more of it.

It's so senseless. And we know what we need to do to stop this kind of violence. And like so many other things that would actually benefit the health and wellbeing of all of us, this country just refuses to do it.

I left the church years ago, but I was raised Mormon and most of my family are still active. I know what it's like to sit in those pews with my family around me. I can't imagine the horror of being attacked there. My heart breaks for that community and every community torn apart by gun violence.

So many of us came so very unwillingly to this place of viewing the Supreme Court as unworthy of being viewed as a judicial body. Unworthy of veneration, unworthy of respect.

So profoundly reluctantly.

But, good lord have they earned it.
