National Records of Scotland closed on Thursday 27 March
I canโt see a mention of this online but when we were in the Historical Search Room yesterday we were told that the NRS would be closed on Thursday and open as usual on Friday.
Hope this saves someone a wasted journey!

If you're wondering what happened to the original Glasgow University building in the city centre, here it is. Or rather, what's left of it! The staircase, built 1690 in the old building, is incorporated into the new one, but now faces the opposite direction to how it went originally. #recycling
