maybe they thought it was too heavy handed or depressing to spend much time on? but hank genuinely caring about his well being is enough to work with there i think. feels like they just wanted to do the obvious "bill got much worse without hank to balance him out" bit but also didn't want to commit

i was curious to see how bill's situation was gonna go down given the conflicting appearances in trailers but they quite literally spend Zero time on that. he's introduced in a bad state and pretty much turns back into his old self immediately, & off screen! no storyline/resolution for that. weird!

the saudi arabia thing feels strange for hank's character but i think making him a fish out of water/audience surrogate for getting caught up w/ the cast was definitely the right move

but the fact that he & peggy stayed in an artificial suburb pretty much identical to arlen is pretty funny

4 eps into the new king of the hill season, and honestly im mostly impressed with how natural of an extension of the series it is, it's rly like it never left in the first place

definitely not vibing with dale's new voice so far but what can u do
