I’ve always been cautious with Lombok. But many people say “well we’ve never had issues with it”. And indeed, in the last 10 years none of the projects I worked have had Lombok related issues. So I caved and I always use it now. Records are not a replacement yet.

The only people I see pushing this narrative of vibe coding are either connect to AI companies or leaders who never wrote a single line of code themselves. There’s no way the current chatbots in the market can write complex software.

Don’t find credible to think any serious software can be built with AI alone. It does make devs more productive as chatbots are good replacement for google searches and some repetitive tasks. But it’s still a long way from delivering actual value alone.
