Redraw!
I've always liked the original, despite its flaws (those arms are NOT the same length), and I've considered redrawing it before.

What finally made me do it, was I thought the design could work as a witch in Silvia and Co.'s world!

I think I'm going to name her Iris :3

In Vermillion, with a beautiful skyline of heart-shaped clouds and magical waterfalls, Liege and Ruby address each other. Liege looks somewhat sardonic as he looks snarkily to Ruby over her shoulder, and she looks back up at him with wistful sympathy. They both remark, "Honestly...? I feel sorry for you." In a second panel, Liege recoils with a Dracula-like posture of shock, snarling, as Ruby smiles with the same sad edge as before, as they again, both make the same remark at the same time: "...YOU feel sorry for ME?!"

...My current process relies very heavily on the conveniences of a digital workflow, and it shows in the sketch ^^;

But I liked the concept well enough, so I figured I'd make a digital version!
