The list of players whom Everton hold an interest in, and would like to try and bring in this transfer window are:

Dan Neil - Sunderland
Finn Azaz - Middlesbrough
Joel Piroe - Leeds
Wilfred Gnonto - Leeds
Tom Fellows - WBA
Josh Maja - WBA

There is also interest in Nuamah of Lyon. Thanks πŸ’™

From very quick first impressions the injury to DCL doesn't look great. Really hopeful it's something minor, but if he is out for 6wks or so, then Everton need to invest in a striker in January Transfer Window. TFG need to support Thelwell to execute in next 7 days! Thanks πŸ’™

Thelwell currently in talks with Chelsea over Kieran Dewsbury Hall and/or Chukwuemeka. Hoping CFC allow Broja to return to complete treatment as won't be available until April 2025 at earliest.

Assuming McNeil remains unfit and Moyes continues with 4-2-3-1 Formation the below would be my starting XI Vs Spurs. Honestly it's quite depressing to show this as our best side but I think it is given who is available. Thanks πŸ’™

This man has to be played centrally as he can dictate and control the game and unlock defences with skill and vision. Need to put pace on the flanks and let Illiman be our creative fulcrum! Thanks πŸ’™

Unfortunately when you have made a profit in your transfer dealings as we have, your net result is a set of really poor players. Which is why TFG need to spend some πŸ’Έ quickly in Jan to improve this squad. Can't sell Richarlison +replace with Jack Harrison or Iwobi +replace with Doucoure in the 10!

During his talks with TFG, Moyes has already told them that they need 3 new players in January window to improve a threadbare squad. A new LB, a new Left Winger and a new Box to Box Midfielder.
Thelwell has his own targets identified for a winger but Moyes insists he has influence on transfers

As stated 3 days ago, TFG have accelerated plans to relieve Dyche of his tenure.
The job is David Moyes if he wants it (Indications are that he does want it but on a 2.5yr deal)
Personally think Moyes is a massively good manager and will once again be a good fit for Everton. 39% win ratio in PL πŸ‘

I have some information around Dyche situation. TFG didn't want to renew his contract post June 2025 anyway, but are looking to accelerate efforts to relieve him of his duties. The same goes for Thelwell who has a number of less than impressive signings on his resume. Potter/Ashworth what TFG wantπŸ’™

The club has sacked Allardyce, Martinez, Silva, Koeman who all have much much better records than Sean Dyche. Ironically, even Rafa Benetiz had a higher win % than Mr. Dyche. So statistically terrible playing anti football worse than Big Sam! Turn off the lights if we don't relive this fella! πŸ’™

The fundamental issue with how we play under Dyche/this system is that we have zero attacking threat. So when the opposition score, we have no reply and essentially cannot win the game from a losing position. Therefore we either gain a clean sheet or at very best a score draw! Hardly NSNO πŸ’™

I don't know if TFG are there yet (in terms of relieving Dyche of his duties) but they are heavily data driven business folk. And looking at pure date, Dyche 2024 would see us relegated (3 wins in 18, and 0.94 points per game)
I think Dan and the exec board have some serious considerations to make!

Everton have held exploratory conversations with RC Strasbourg about Habib Diarra. He was a player of interest in the summer and Illiman N'Diaye has personally told the club of the players abilities and potential. Club hopeful to get it done quick to avoid completion. Thanks πŸ’™

TFG have got a decision to make. Either buy players who have more of a goal threat than Doucs, Harrison, Beto, DCL or they go and get a manager who can get our forward players and midfield to create xG and convert them. That includes a DoF who can pick forward players who can produce consistently!

The main issue with Dyche approach is that we don't play a style of football that creates goals and good opportunities to score. We should have enough attacking talent in N'Diaye, McNeil, Lindstrom, DCL, Broja, Beto etc to be better than 0.88 goals per match. Biggest issue is they score one....πŸ’™

Final Season at Goodison Park. Results thus far;

Eve 0 - Brighton 3
Eve 2 - B'Mouth 3
Eve 2 - Palace 1
Eve 0 - Newcastle 0
Eve 1 - Fulham 1
Eve 0 - Brent 0
Eve 4 - Wolves 0
Eve 0 - Chelsea 0
Eve 0 - Notts Forest 2

2 Wins, 4 draws, 3 losses with 9 goals scored in 9 games. Hardly a fitting tribute

There is a good chance that Everton lose both Beto and Calvert-Lewin in January. Both players are attracting interest in Italy, with Torino keen on Beto and Fiorentina looking to do a cut price deal for DCL. Everton would be comfortable with Broja and Chermiti, although incomings likely with TFGπŸ’™

The Friedkin Group are expected on Day 1 to secure our finances with loans and debts being converted to equity shares. The club will be revalued once Bramley Moore is complete. Also expectation that a stadium sponsor will be announced very soon after completion (with Toyota, obvious candidates) πŸ’™

The Friedkin Group are expected to formally announce purchase of Blue Heaven shares this week. This should end a 2yr wait for a new owner since it became clear that without Usmanov's money that Moshiri couldn't afford to own us. The Americans will not act immediately on manager and DoF but have plan

Ross Barkley & Ademola Lookman both lighting up the Champions League this evening. Feels like we have definitely missed an opportunity with some of the players we had in our squad under Moshiris time at the club. Hopefully the Freidkins can bring some better times to pass. Thanks πŸ’™

Manchester United have spent Β£1.6bn since Sir Alex retired and have brought in 65 players under 7 different managers. It's proof, if ever needed that getting it absolutely right is really difficult which is why so few clubs do. In comparison big spending Everton in the same time have spent Β£935m...

Now confirmed by multiple sources that the Friedkin Group are looking to convert debt to equity which gives us financial headroom to improve the squad. The key players at TFG recognise that the club need at least 3 players of much higher quality than we have in forward areas. Thanks πŸ’™

Brighton, Bournemouth, Villa, Man Utd (Amorium), Leicester (Maresca) all showing that if you are organised in your football structure and you scout managers and their styles, as well as players, then a club can bring in quality managers from overseas who have great ideas and tactical know how.

DCL has scored 56 PL goals.
Beto has 7 goals in around 1000mins (so effectively 7 in approx 12 games)

We also have McNeil (20G, 30A) Doucoure (33G, 22A) & Ndiaye (23G, 13A) in PL.

So there are goals there, but Dyche can't get them to score with defensive boring tactics!

24.11.2024 10:08 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

This is the best group of players that Sean Dyche has ever worked with. He has a World Class GK, a generationally talented CB, three excellent CM options and 3 Strikers who score in the PL plus 4 wide forward/wingers to select from.
He has managed to make us look like Burnley however! Thanks πŸ’™

The saddest element of performances like today, is that a truly great historic stadium is enduring it's last season, with meat and potatoes football being coached by a dinosaur! Thanks πŸ’™

I hope to see Ndiaye in the No.10 role tomorrow with Harrison and Lindstrom either side of him offering some pace. I also feel it is time that Beto is given a full game and an opportunity to impress as he clearly has more of a goal threat than DCL at present. Thanks πŸ’™
