Progress on base colors:

Started the painting today. But I just got the green on before I had to stop and get ready for work. But a start is a start and the first step down the road to being done has been made:

I felt like the cross on the trench cleric wasn't enough. So I made a little reliquary/shrine:

Down in mud tonight. Getting close to paint.

Paint's on. I think this test piece is done. I'll know for sure when dry. I need to start working on the bases for the warband now.

Started some color on the objective marker.

Added tiny fake nails in the cloth with the heads of sewing pins. Dirty zenithal prime with spray paint. Might paint tonight.

Testing some cloth I bought for detail work like this. Soaked in watered down PVA and stuck right on. Left to drape naturally.

Testing the barbed wire I made last night and a new coffee mud mix on an obj marker I whipped up. It seems to glue ok. I did have to retwist it a bit as I wrapped it. I used superglue and baking soda. And dripped glue in a few key places. Now we wait for the mud to dry so I can prime and paint it.

Anybody still playing Pokémon Go? I need to add another friend for a research goal.

There is some details that I need to add, some putty work in a few places, but this is mostly a complete warband. I get the details and putty in, and I can prime and paint.

I needed a Trench Cleric with a flamethrower and a sword to finish my New Antioch warband for Trench Crusade. So I built one.

Mostly there. A lot of detail work left. And a Trench Cleric to build still. But it's coming along.
