As ICE terrorizes Nashville area, my Hispanic and Latinx students can’t come to school because their families are afraid. They can’t finish school with their friends. Fuck ICE and fuck Trump and all his voters.

It’s really difficult raising kids and realizing that you have done all of it so they can successfully leave. It’s a surreal feeling.

All my teachers are counting down to the last day of summer. I am the summer school director. There is no break. But I’m happy for them.

Little Caturday nap time.

The 8th graders at my school haven’t received their cap and gowns yet and they were ordered over a month ago because of the Trump tariffs and shipping delays. They are very worried they won’t get them at all.

It’s about to get real sketchy out here soon as the last shipping containers arrive.

A bus driver came to our school and bought lunch for all the 8th graders that ride his bus this year. And that is just the sweetest thing. Like it is a thankless job and he served them today before they graduate. #unsunghero
