It's all just... shapes and math

Still not quite sold on the concept of an AI browser.

Chatbots, extensions, agentic search, deep research, etc already taking place in the browser were all not good enough huh?

The browser itself must be "infused" with AI, whatever that means these days.

Grabbed some of those tiny field notes notebooks today. Gonna write and draw some tiny stuff and things.

Finding myself engrossed in ideas around what constitutes evidence of our thoughts and existence in a world where everything is in the cloud.

Some of the things I read that I found noteworthy from last week:

Went from not being able to keep a succulent alive to a plant dad of 15, and they are thriving... But nobody told me they would show off & start sharing water telekinetically (aka transpiration), making it impossible to know when to water which plants without feeling them up 🫠

An unexpectedly large EMP (man-made or solar flare) would make so many of the "predictions" we're forced to see/hear about where AI/tech is leading us hilariously irrelevant...

Satisfaction is an unexplored frontier.

Embarkations commence, endeavoring to understand its relationship with abundance and greed, respectively, and in conjunction.

The process is a process, but progress is in progress.

As more time goes by with new AI tools and models almost daily, the real question isn't so much what a model can do, or what the popular nerds think of it.

The question is what will YOU do with it (other than compare it to other models), and does it work for your needs?

Do you have a skill or talent that doesn't require electricity?

Seeking friends and allies for the apocalypse...

Sometimes, there is no shortcut, or at least not one without sacrifice.

Learn this. Let it seep into your pores and be ever-present in a world of aggrandized entitlement, primed for instant gratification.

Some things we must just learn or do... ourselves... the long way.

Describing ain't the same thing as knowing, but I can dig it ChatGPT. This is how it perceives me based on what I allow it to see:

Knowing measurably more now than I did then will make all the difference.

A collective fixation with creating, sustaining, and existing within computer generated simulated environments reflects humanity's deeply-rooted obsession with control.

Read more books.

Start with one and keep going forever.

It's one of few protections a human mind has against modern society.

The goal is to consume less "information" ☯️

Hmm, which models? I'm thinking you don't have enough VRAM for big models is all from you saying 400MB. I'm thinking maybe that wasn't the right number though lol

Ha, no worries. You don't really NEED to upgrade unless you are determined to work locally and offline. Some want the local models for privacy, others since it's free.
