My daughter showed me something the White House posted around Valentine’s Day and she first thought that it was a meme/parody account!

I’m having a surgery on Tuesday and I’m terrified since last time the anaesthesia didn’t go well at all (and there’s a biopsy involved too). Any tips on how to relax over the next 2 days?

It’s not easy to navigate that new part of our life, that new body, that invisibility, that lack of representation, and more often than not that ageism. When women over 50 , like me, get out of their comfort zone to change the narrative of ‘the woman that let herself go’, give her some love. 1/2

Treat artists like humans. If you're commissioning artists, communicate with them about your expectations and questions. Keep in mind that one month is a FAST turnaround with how much work artists do outside of drawing the art, and the lives and struggles we have outside of our jobs.

Here’s a photo I took this morning of the Waterview Wharf Workshops. They are beautiful, but it’s better to take a photo from the ferry, since the wharf is private and people are literally working in the workshops.
