And re the accessibility critique: it is free and easy to use, but I consider the popups / ads after literally every lessson to make the experience inaccessible and tiresome. There is no uninterrupted learning

I feel like Duolingo is an evil company now. It feels so souless. It used to be about community, learning together, and accessible. and there was a larger focus on supplementing class / educational materials. Now it feels like capitalist poop
