I’m a US citizen and a veteran. ICE arrested me for no reason. Jailed for three days without an explanation or ability to notify anyone, George Retes argues the only path to healing starts with the government taking accountability for its actions.

During that time, I was never told what I was charged with, was not allowed to shower despite being covered in tear gas and pepper spray, had no phone call to my family, and no access to an attorney.” - George Retes, U.S. citizen and veteran.

These are agents who were sent AFTER the violent insurrection was well underway. Kash Patel issued a statement that said that after a fringe right wing outlet reported it falsely. But Trump chooses to run with the lie from them rather than the statement from his FBI Director.

I really hope for a future where women will go out of their way to protect each other. Predatory men are not slowing down. You see it in the news, you see it online, you may experience it. Please look out for each other.

On the firing and (partial) unfiring of CDC experts by an administration that uses RIFs as political retribution with blatant disregard for agency missions. It is the kind of error that should have political consequences.

It seems clear—I think to everyone, now—that a false and illegal invocation of the Insurrection Act is coming before the end of the year. Media outlets should be telling us how they will prepare for this potential Treason. State governments should be telling us. Activists should be developing plans.

ICE agents are reportedly creeping around high schools in Chicago. And because they are wearing masks, often not wearing uniforms and using unmarked vehicles this means that ANYONE could show up dressed like this and disappear kids off the streets. This is especially dangerous

The US is deporting a journalist today.

Mario Guevara was live streaming ICE atrocities.

So they grabbed him.

Detained him 100 Days and are sending him to El Salvador without even letting him say goodbye to his family.

The ACLU confirmed he was working in the US legally.
