Graphic with trans flag colours and the words Today is a day to remember those we have lost in the fight against bigotry and hate. We will always remember their names and let us never stop fighting in their memory. Transgender day of remembrance.
Thinking of all our trans friends who we have lost this year, so many of whom could have been saved by better access to healthcare and a less toxic environment. We will keep fighting.
Rest in power

Graphic showing a laughing Nigel Farage - above are the words Lib Dems defeat Farage's plan to undermine our Human Rights
Liberal Democrat MPs just defeated Nigel Farageβs Bill in Parliament to tear up peopleβs rights and withdraw from the ECHR.
Farage wants to do away with the Britain Churchill built and turn it into Trump's America. We won't let him.

Today marks the beginning of Pride Month - now more than ever, we must stand with the LGBTQ+ community.
I want to make clear that our party will keep fighting - until we can finally build a society where everyone is free to be who they are.

Todayβs news confirming the closure of Sutton Coldfield Library is tragic. Thoughts with the library staff.
Thank you to colleagues at FOLIO Sutton Coldfield and the very many people who have supported us in keeping our library open since it was first slated for closure in 2016. A sad day.

A hateful thing to say. People whose approach to life is not faith-based have done enormous good, majority non-religious societies have been some of the strongest proponents of human dignity and solidarity. Why is the BBC just printed this unchallenged? If it's "news", it should be balanced.

Vikki at bournemouth pride with a trans flag and participant dressed in rainbow colours
I know my Trans & Non Binary friends will be worried, scared & confused today
The courts judgement needs careful consideration to understand its impact. Trans voices were not included yet this ruling affects them most. Thatβs deeply troubling.
Please know you are loved & accepted as you are π³οΈββ§οΈπ

Today Donald Trump has launched a destructive trade war that threatens the jobs and living standards of people across the UK and around the world.
We need to end this trade war as quickly as possible - and that means standing firm with our allies against Trumpβs attempts to divide and rule.
The Prime Minister should bring our Commonwealth and European partners together in a coalition of the willing against Trumpβs tariffs, using retaliatory tariffs where necessary and signing new trade deals with each other where possible.
If the Government gives in to Trump's threats, it will only encourage him to use the same bullying tactics again and again.
My statement on Trumpβs reckless trade war.

Liberal Democrats proposed to use this tax to enable us to increase defence spending while protecting the foreign aid budget. Labour apparently plan to cut it to appease Trump - all the while cutting benefits for the most needy. Grotesque.

We need to secure funding to ensure Ukraine can sustain its war effort, and we need European partners to swiftly discuss the security guarantees they can offer.

Peace Through Ukrainian Victory
Putin had peace, and he chose war.
The only road to enduring European peace is through Ukrainian victory.
Putin cannot be reasoned with; he must be defeated.
Whichever path the US pursues, the UK must join our European friends to stand up for Ukraine in its darkest hour. π¬π§πΊπ¦

Government's WASPI decision is heartless and wrong - Steve Darling MP responds
The new government has turned its back on pension-age women who were wronged through no fault of their own, ignoring the Ombudsmanβs recommendations.
The Conservatives left our economy in a shambles, but asking those wronged pensioners to pay the price is wrong.
