In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

My internet went off at 8 p.m. last night and has only just been fixed. It was like the Stone Age. I barely coped.

Low wages are a huge issue, but two things can be true. A 'cap' implies stability. When it keeps rising to guarantee corporate profit while households struggle, the system is clearly designed to protect the seller, not the buyer.
