I’ve been asked a few times over the years where the name for the label came from, so here you go. June of 44 remains one of my favorite bands. When he got a copy of Tropics and Meridians back in the day it came with this poster and the words Expert Work have always resonated with me somehow.

Disk Union in Japan made these keychains to give away to customers when they bought a copy of the 30th Anniversary edition of the Orwell discography. They sent me a few and I will include on in each order for the next five people who order a copy of “Orwell 1995”.

Real people having real meetings. There are real humans (well one) behind this label and real people in the bands. Good hangs and good conversation.
