FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Do you have weekend plans? This weekend not looking too bad. Keeping it dry and cool

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Little misty and damp for the day. Consider a rain coat for the kids. Fortunately the temperatures are above freezing, and no ice expected. May get a few drops when the kids come home in the afternoon.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Freezing fog advisory for Crawford county and areas south through 9am. Watch for black ice on the pavement from any areas that have dense fog early this morning.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: A chilly and damp start to the day, but no precipitation. Some inland fog may put a few slippery spots on the pavement, so be on the lookout for some black ice. Otherwise, looks like a dry day for the kids as they go to school today.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Areas of inland fog this morning. Watch for low visibility in some areas. The fog may also put some moisture on the pavement, which could allow for some slippery spots on the roadways, especially bridges and overpasses.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Watch for a few slippery areas as the kids go to school this morning, though most of the pavement will be okay.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Looks like this month will end on a mild note and relatively tranquil overall. Of course, Mother Nature may have some surprises 😉, but it doesn't look like much right now.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Some wet snow showers later tonight may put a light coating on the grass south of Erie. Not expecting much, but may slicken up some of the roads for early morning commuters inland tomorrow.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Not too bad for the kids as they head to school this morning. Sub freezing temps, so a hat/coat/gloves a good need.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Weather Aware for the afternoon. Lake effect snow showers at times Warren/Chautauqua counties and some slippery roads in the snow belts south and east of Erie.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Weather Alert remains this morning. Roads in the snow belts east of route 19 into western Warren and Chautauqua counties remain slippery. quick hits of snow pellets in Erie will put quick coatings which may cause some momentary slippery times as well through mid morning.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Make sure the kids are dressed warmly, and boots if they are traveling in the snow belts east of route 19 where the snow has been steadiest. Wind chills in the 20s.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: We are under a Weather Alert today, mainly for the eastern snow belts where the snow will cause the most disruptions, including Wattsburg, Union City, Corry, and possibly Waterford. Erie, Meadville, and Edinboro and areas west should be in decent shape.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Lake effect bands most prominent from route 19 south through Waterford, then east into western Chautauqua and Warren counties. Take special care traveling in these areas for you morning commutes, as roads will be slippery. Erie in good shape overall for morning commuters.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Winds have really picked up in the wake of the frontal passage, with gusts over 40-45 mph at times in Erie. Take special care when traveling this evening with these gusty winds.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: A wind advisory has been issued for Warren and Mckean counties in the viewing area beginning at 9am Sunday. Wind gusts through Sunday night will approach 40-50 mph. Consider brining in any outside objects that may be affected by strong winds.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Showers with embedded heavy downpours falling in the region, especially Erie county. Some of these storms may have wind gusts locally to 40-45 mph. Watch for localized flooding as well in low lying areas from any heavy rainfall. Rain will diminish in the next hour or two.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Strong front will pass through this evening. It will set off some gusty winds as it passes, and those gusts may get close to or above 40mph. Best chances between 6-9pm of that happening. Some gusty storms also possible as this front passes.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Winds today will be gusty, and that will continue Sunday. Hold on to your hats!!

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Some gusty winds will develop, mainly this afternoon. Approaching cold front will allow for those winds to increase. Gusty winds also possible with any storms that develop late afternoon and early evening.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: There is a marginal risk of severe storms south of Erie late this afternoon and early evening. It's the lowest threat level. Even if we don't receive severe weather, some storms after 4pm may have some very heavy downpours and wind gusts of 40-50 mph possible.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Some wet snow and rain/snow mix will gradually develop this morning in the region. Mainly rain and wet roads north of I-90, with a light slushy accumulation possible I-90 and into Crawford and Warren counties into mid morning.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Gusty winds over 30 mph at times, especially in Erie. Make sure you protect or bring in any outdoor objects that could get damaged by the wind.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Have a rain coat for the kids as they go to school this morning, and bundle them up with the cold winds that are blowing. Some wet snow possible in the snow belts, which may put a light slush on the sidewalks. Some rain and wind as the kids come home in the afternoon.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: We had gusty winds today, and it does not look any calmer for tomorrow. Wind gusts could still get well into the 30s to possibly 40 mph. Keep the outdoor ornaments tied down or keep them inside.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Weather Alert has been downgraded to a Weather Aware day this afternoon. This is due to continued snow covered and slippery roads in the snow belts south of I-90. Lake effect snows have tapered off, but expect more on and off lake effect into the afternoon.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Continuing the Weather Alert for the region for the balance of the morning. Lake effect snow will continue to affect NW PA for the next couple of hours. Watch for snow covered roads and blowing snow. Erie will have better conditions, but some slippery areas possible.

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Erie may not have received a lot of snow, but not the case in Titusville. Over a foot so far, with more expected in the next couple of hours. Roads continue to be snow covered and slippery south of I-90. Roads better downtown Erie.
