I headcannon them as amab partially because of that reason (I live in a very conservative country) but also because I feel more identified with them, as I'm amab non binary too and I'm very tired to see non binary = "cis/trans female light edition" in media

What about "experiences"? I don't think amab people are raised the same way as afab people (at least in most western cultures). Is not always about what's in that person's pants.

I don't think is any harm to see them as an amab person if that's it's just to feel more related with the character
