Since it's a slow day at work, I wa'ted to use my time writing but Ellipsus decided to stop working on my phone, I'm so frustrated 😭

What would be perfect is if I manage to finish (and post) my first fic by thursday morning and the second one by Christmas (because I want to make it a surprise to one of my bestie).

Those two are my shortest ones so I honestly think I might be able to do it, I just need to stop doubting myself 😂

I'm currently writing three different fanfics and I really want to post at least two of them before the end of the year.

How do I explain to my friend who's been begging me to watch a certain anime for the past 2 years that I might finally start it because I saw two of the characters for half a second in a doomed yaoi edit?

I thought I was doing better lately but honestly forcing myself not to sob while writing because I just feel too much makes me believe I am, in fact, not.

I get it now why I never wrote fanfics before.

I just get overly emotional writing about my favourite characters and needs to take a minute every time I write something remotely cute between the two of them.

But you also have to embrace the cringe you know? Sometimes you feel so passionately about two characters, the only sane thing you're able to do is smash their names together. You don't have time to find a pretty name.

I'm aware that it's not new, the one I remember first is Wolfstar but now I feel like fandoms always try to find the prettiest names for the ships and... I get it.

Not to sound like a boomer or anything but why do ship names are so complex nowadays? How Miles/Gwen is called Ghostflower???

It's a genuine question but does it have something to do with cringe culture? What happened to just mashing two names together and hoping for the best?
