This two-day conference has been a staple for secondary school teachers of law and law-related subjects. It connects teachers with leaders in the legal communities, as well as other Ontario law teachers.

Over 21 teams competed in the Ottawa Mock Trial Tournament. Collège catholique Samuel-Genest won the French tournament and West Carleton Secondary School won the English tournament. Congratulations to both! Thank you to everyone for another remarkable year.

The silver medals went to the mock trial team from Sudbury Secondary School. Over 70 students participated in the tournament and Madam Justice Patricia Hennessy judged the final round. Well done to all the participants for your tenacity! The tournament was a great success!

Western Technical-Commercial School and Northern Secondary School faced each other in the final round. Congratulations to Western TCS for bringing home the trophy this year, and to Northern SS for taking the second place!

After the intense preliminary rounds, Sir John A Macdonald Collegiate Institute, Earl Haig Secondary School, Northern Secondary School, and Western Technical-Commercial School advanced to the Toronto semifinals on May 5th.

Thirty two schools from across the Toronto region competed in the 2025 OBA-OJEN Competitive Mock Trials. Students brought their A game and amazed all the judges!
