Map of victoria park. Volunteer checkin is near the corner of Kitchner and Salsburry, and going south from there along Salsburry there will be food and the pickle and raffle table. Along Kitchner from west to east there will be (in order): the main stage, the masked zone, play activities, clothing swap. Along the path starting at the corner of Salsbury and Kitchner that dips south and comes back north to the corner of Kitchner and Victoria drive there are (in order, west to east): Haircuts, first aid tent, tablers tent, low sensory tent, accessability table, active listening tent anbd more tablers!

Performers, hair stylists, and speakers all receive honorariums for their part in making the day so special.

We're fundraising for both next week's march and for the events we'll be putting on throughout the year, including TDOR and TDOV. Please donate if you're able! 💖

VTM is a grassroots effort that relies entirely on donations to put on the events that we do. In addition to paying for equipment rentals, ASL interpretation, and supplies, we strive to support the community members who help make our events so great.

Our '25 fundraiser is live 🎉🎉

It's April?! There's less than 4 months until the march?! Dang, we need to make some money.

We're starting with a clothing sale! To do that, we need some clothing and/or accessory donations. Got some good clothes you could toss our way for a good cause? It's almost the time.

We will be exploring other avenues, including setting up a donation link for those willing and able to contribute to increasing the accessibility of our events. Please stay tuned for this donation link!

For the last few years, VTM has accessed grants through VPS for ASL interpreting at the March. In alignment with this boycott, we will not be pursuing funding from VPS for this Pride season unless the demands are met. Our ASL budget is estimated to be around $800.

VTM reached out to VPS again in February of this year and was met with silence. Vancouver Trans March will no longer engage with the Vancouver Pride Society until the demands laid out in the open letter (tinyurl.com/mpnskte2) are met.

The Queer Collective for Palestine (QC4P) and Queers Against Israeli Apartheid (QUAIA) engaged VPS in discussions about these topics in the summer of 2024, and there continues to be no response.
