everything will be fine in a few weeks when we've had tome to settle in but as for right now im just feeling extremely uncomfortable and annoyed about everything and i hate it

kitchen sink broke on our first fucking day so theres repair ppl in there working on it and i dont want to be in the way so im just not able to eat my lunch 😫

nobody knows where anything is so theyre all asking me as if i know (which i dont), i hate the new desks bc i cant see anyone over the stupid privacy glass so i cant keep track of my team, mail room is a disaster so im getting all my mail deliveries late and getting overloaded

spent so much time and energy trying to make sure everyone else settled in well at the new office that i forgot how bad i am at handling new things so im very stressed out rn 😵‍💫

the fact that i still have like 5 other ones in my online shopping cart to buy at some point to add to the army....... 🫣

worked for 6 hours today unpacking and setting up things at work then went to my parents house and helped my stepmom build a sectional couch. im so glad tomorrow is a bank holiday bc my body is going to be sooooo sore 😫

i truly deserve an award for the way i handled this move at work. i was the one packing and organizing and labeling almost everything like i had it all ready to go by 10am this morning before my supervisor even got to work im a fucking hero

alright...... todays the big move day at work. fingers crossed it all goes well and our machines all work again on sunday when we need them 🤞🤞🤞🤞

tomorrow's the big move day at work so it's chaotic as hell rn making sure we have everything we can packed and labeled before tomorrow.... and then we still have to do all our normal processing tomorrow while movers are here relocating everything 😵‍💫😵‍💫

today at work our backup power sources went down and it set off a loud screeching alarm and my supervisor was in a meeting so everyone expected me to fix it and i just looked at them all like.... wtf am i supposed to do why would i have any knowledge of how the fucking power supply works

been cooking up a storm lately and im really loving it 🥰 even if the meals arent very fancy or are pretty easy it's still just been really nice to make things instead of getting takeout a bunch. i definitely have a few recipes i wanna try out soon to add to the list 👩‍🍳

insane when the other lead's gone and i finish the work that normally takes her all day in just like..... 2 and a half hours. like what am i supposed to do now for the rest of my day lol

i was so exhausted yesterday i went to sleep at like 7:30pm and then had 1 million nightmares so that was fun 🙃

and i just know it's so she can ask me to explain the same process ive walked her through 20 other times now which is already me going beyond what i should be doing because once again she isnt even IN MY DEPARTMENT.

someone from another department tried calling me on my lunch break, no message asking like "hey are you free?" or anything. getting real tired of ppl just assuming im at their beck and call especially people who i dont work for. at least have the courtesy to ask if im available 🙄

maybe i need to tell my supervisor that like once a month i need a day or two at work where everyone pretends im not there and i just run around organizing shit as a mental reset lol

i have spent all day today clearing out drawers and packing boxes for our office move next week and my body is exhausted but i feel good bc for once i am not mentally drained from juggling all the work or getting a million questions 😮‍💨

took an hour to finally fall back asleep and then my alarm clock went off just when i was getting into that good sleep oh im so sad

luckily i have batteries on hand but now im awake and annoyed. i have to try and fall back asleep for another hour and a half 😞

also both people who are leaving early told me they would come in early today to balance it out and both of them were instead late to their shift 😑 i swear i feel like i am a babysitter half the time

everyone kinda fucked me today at work like why did two people schedule appointments on the same day the other lead is gone 😫😫😫 this afternoon i have to jump between packaging, keying, and posting payments
