I've played some new games. Path of Exile 2 early access-a bit of a hard ARPG, but enjoyable enough. Maybe not worth $30 when it'll be free in a few months. Indiana Jones captures the movie feel well. I like it. It's a short romp at 9 hours. Worth the game pass price for sure.

Update on Garage Renovation: Snail's pace. The trim is the last bit. And due to illness, it's taken 4 days. Probably 3 hours of work left :(. But it doesn't matter TOO much because the inspector won't be here for the final electrical until Monday (after ghosting us on Friday).

So many deliveries have arrived, my house looks like a UPS waystation.

I decided against another Star Wars Old Republic playthrough and made a video just talking about it instead. I bought a HOTAS setup to play MechWarrior Clans, but it didn't arrive when it was supposed to so that's put off for now. But soon, t here will be mech level destruction for the channel.

I'm considering doing some Star Wars the Old Republic for a YouTube video. A new company is now in charge of development, and they claim they have plans for the future. People are skeptical. It'll be 12 years old as of 12/20/2024.

Getting work done on your home can be taxing. There are a lot of things to know about it before getting involved with a contractor. And inspectors...I understand the purpose, but being held hostage all day long for whenever they deem to show up sucks. Make a proper appointment, y'all!

I'm doing a revisit to the game Shootas, Blood & Teef, a side scroller where you play as an ork in the 40k universe. And it's as ridiculous as you'd imagine. It's a short game. According to How long to beat, only 3.5 hours. But worth it. Perhaps on sale.

I fired up MechWarrior 5 Clans yesterday with mouse and keyboard controls. I really want to talk about it, but without a proper controller, it's probably not a fair assessment. I ordered a throttle/joystick combo that I've wanted for 30 years. So tomorrow, we see if I've outgrown that youthful want.

I just finished Return of the King. Of the 3 Lord of the Rings movies, I've seen that one the least. It's been a while since I watched. And it hits so very much harder when you've experienced any sort of loss.

I had one of my favorite experiences with MechCommander 2. I think if the right dev got their hands on it, they'd bring some awesome nostalgia with modern QOL, that could be great.

I started playing a couple new games. STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl and MechWarrior 5 Clans. The former is okay. I did a video on my YouTube channel. The latter would be the best game ever if it didn't involve the Clans. I'm working on a video for that now too. If I can stomach it :P

I've put some serious attention into my YouTube channel after getting the iPhone 16. It's made it a lot easier to make things happen, such as model builds, game videos, etc. This has been a fantastic distraction as well.

I thought it best for my first ever post to be of the baby Remi. This was 11 years ago.
