Yes it is, on both iPhone (iOS 18.6.2) and iPad (iPadOS 17.7.10). I tried changing the language is settings to French - it translated English to French just fine - and then back to English, and the translate button still shows on English posts.

Aha, it translates the post into English in place. I needed to test it on a non-English post. For some reason I was expecting some kind of pop-up where you select the target language, like in iMessage. All good.

Thanks for this! There is a translate button but when I tap it, it just disappears. Presumably not intentional?
