It went great! There was also a makers market going on at the senior center that Fri/Sat but IMO the one at Aztlan center was much nicer! Wide rows so it wasn't crowded, a lot of variety in booths. Will definitely do again next year!

I just learned about a winter pride event in FoCo on the 13th at the Senior Center, so hopefully you're better by then. I'll be checking that one out, too!

I've done a couple comic and anime conventions, and even though those aren't explicitly queer focused, there are always a high attendance of queer people at such events. Definitely recommend!

Thank you! It was a really cool experience. I was a little nervous to do a booth outside of conventions (which are of course always hella queer) but this definitely restored my faith in humanity a bit lol

There were so many boomers who saw the trans or nonbinary flags I stuck in my books and got excited to buy them for one of their queer grandkids or niblings T-T It warmed my heart so much

I've never so severely misjudged an event lol.

Ended up driving back to Denver to grab 20 more books, brought them back this morning, and sold out again today.

Okay, so, I was totally wrong and ended up selling out of most of my books on day 1 lmao

So now I've just driven an hour and a half away to get more books so I can actually have something at my booth tomorrow

I'll be at a maker market this weekend selling and signing books for anyone in the northern Colorado area!
