‼️ Between Summer 2023 and Summer 2024, ReSET was delivered 28 times across 12 schools. In November 2024, we invited the 192 caregivers who had consented to be contacted to complete a feedback survey. The survey closed in January 2025, with 33 caregivers responding.

2026 marks the final phases of the ReSET main trial, with January being jam packed with additional ReSET material, including podcasts, a webinar, and even more socials posts - but all of that is to come with more information in the New Year!🥳

We had three additional papers accepted for publication, we began our push of dissemination across social media, and - most importantly - we were overjoyed to see after four years of running that ReSET has positive impacts on young people, reducing the emergence of mental health difficulties.🎉🎉

It has been a fantastic year for ReSET, so let's recap what we were able to accomplish in 2025 - we spent the first half of the year doing our final data collection with our participating schools, we welcomed Reilly and Josh to the team, we had our end of project conference, (continued ⬇️)

On the 2nd Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 2 Professors had an idea 💡🎓

It all started with a conversation between Professors Essi Viding and Pasco Fearon. They saw the growing need for adolescent mental health support, and imagined a school-based, preventative, transdiagnostic intervention.

Three timepoints, dozens of measures, and thousands of data inputted later - we’ve got a rich picture of change over time.

Longitudinal research? We LOVE it.

We tracked our participants over 2-3 years, checking in on their wellbeing, peer relationships, and social-emotional development.

On the 4th Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 4 Years Running 🕰️📆

From 2021 to 2025, ReSET’s been on the move - designing, delivering, evaluating and reflecting. Now we’re in the final stretch: analysing results, writing up findings, and sharing what we’ve learned!

That’s hundreds of individuals who have given us invaluable data across various timepoints - enhancing our understanding of how to deliver preventative programmes in schools.

It's clear that schools are really enthusiastic about ReSET!

On the 5th Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 560 Participants 👨👩👧👦🎉

We aimed for 540... and smashed it. Across 28 groups, over 560 young people took part in ReSET — split almost evenly between intervention and control.

More papers are in the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled in 2026 for fresh reads on adolescent wellbeing, school-based interventions, and all things ReSET.👀
