Distraction helps divert negative thoughts. Take yourself out for a walk, engage in creative activities, or call a loved one. While doing this, ground yourself by focusing on what you can see, hear, smell, taste or feel. Offering yourself kindness is very important.

Feelings of loneliness can negatively impact mental health. When you're struggling, it can be hard to reach out. Keeping things to yourself can be burdensome, so sharing your thoughts or feelings with someone you trust can help you feel more connected and increase wellbeing!

1. Pizza Breathing๐Ÿ•
When stressed, our breathing changes, causing distress. Breathing exercises help calm us. Visualise a pizza slice; as you inhale, imagine smelling itโ€”cheesy, savoury, warm. Hold your breath for 3 seconds, then exhale. Repeat until you feel relaxed. Easy as a pizza pie!
