- I said time skips are lazy but I appreciate that it served as a bit of reset for the author to have the setup that we should’ve had all along, the MC is super powerful, there are inconsequential goons, rivals, and a bad guy. Its good now
Anyways I caught up

- The manga got better when the author decided that all newly introduced characters would be hot and I will die on this hill
- Actually timeskips are lazy
- I think the anime is gonna be a lot better than the manga

My random thoughts about Akane Banashi which I’ve been reading the last few weeks:
- The structure of the story is a sports manga, but its still insane to have a story about comedians with no jokes in it
- They’re all comedians yet “His specialty is… being funny!” Is said more than once unironically
