Props to the linked tumblr for this combination of gifs as someone who took a break from inquisition for a couple weeks after the ball and a nice dance with Blackwall… I didn’t have it fully ruined but omfg did I lean into my dwarf’s backstory.

I was a writer at BioWare for 5 years (2011-2016). I leaned a lot during that time from exceptional folx in many disciplines, but also specifically from my fellow writers & our amazing editors, on both the ME & DA brands.

Today, not a single one of those writers & editors remains employed there.

Black Sails done after a couple weeks of not watching it. It was so very good and definitely my favorite bit of pirate themed media out there. Music’s great. Costumes are stellar and the characters have great stories. Also gloriously queer for a bit of occasionally bloody historical fiction.

Gods moon phases are such a good idea.

I went through most of today not realizing I was missing a plug in my ear. I’m just happy I was able to get one back in several hours later and don’t need to restretch anything. I did find one part of the tunnel that unscrewed itself last night.

Another gingersnap pumpkin tart success. I did get impatient when taking off the ring and didn’t let it sit for 10 but it held together except for that bit along the edge.

My mother yesterday, after I mentioned donating money to friend’s vet bills: “take care of yourself.”

I am and I am helping my friends too as it helps my need to feel helpful and connect to folks I don’t see as often as I’d like.

I don’t see what is wrong here and I refuse to isolate my care.
