Anyone else feeling just so completely numb recently? I go to work, come home and barely function, go to sleep, and repeat the next day.

I need winter to end. I need nature and energy back in my life.

I’m just getting into it for the first time. I love it! The whole family has the Stardew bug currently.

I picked a cat. Named it Feyre.

I love Leah and Emily. Luckily I have two farms. One coop and one on my own to play.

So far spring has been my favorite season, but I haven’t seen winter.

Summer squash is awesome. Dont ask me why.

I haven’t even used a normal sprinkler yet. 😬

Plan for today.

1. Finish work
2. Go grocery shopping
3. Hang out with my kids
4. Talk about a new Minecraft server with friends
5. Ignore the world’s problems by playing more Stardew Valley.

I think that should be a good day.

It’s times like these that I want to pool resources with friends and live in a large off grid community. Then I realize I live in Utah and those communities typically mean something else. So never mind, I’ll continue in this capitalist hellscape.

I never want anyone to assume I’m Mormon again.

This just gave me the most icky feeling. It reminds me of myself 15 years ago. I don’t like it. 😬

Got out in nature for a bit today. My soul needed it. I was able to commune with my inner self and find some peace.

I will forever be grateful that I live so close to nature and the beauty of the mountains.

I will do my best to show my children that even though I am angry, I can treat others with respect. I will not stoop to the level of the people I disagree with. I will set boundaries and insist they are followed. Even through diversity I will be the best version of myself.

I am angry, sad, heartbroken, and feeling very discouraged. I am choosing to allow myself to feel all of it, but I will not allow myself to become disrespectful or hatef

My wife and I have been doing our best to teach our kids about elections and voting and why it is important to make your voice heard.

Now that the election is over, I’ve had to remind myself that I need to also teach them how to react when things don’t go the way you want.
