Statements like this are of course positive and much needed. However, TU’s have been shouting about this for months. It is important that Local Authorities consult with those these issues affect the most, women, black, migrant and low paid workers.

We’re excited to share that we’ll have a stall at the Trade Unions in Communities grand opening event next week. It’s taking place at the Unison Office on Newmarket Street in Falkirk on February 28th, from 12pm to 4pm.

FV College Alloa campus is a vital part of the community. Not everyone has the grades, money or means to study at Universities further from their homes. Community based colleges offer people a chance to progress. The Govt must invest in these institutions. Stop funding cuts now!
