End of Jan book haul only a week late

There are few things that come across as more fake than the "thank you for giving us time with your piece, we really enjoyed reading it" in rejection letters, like just call me a slur and get it over with

Such a pleasure, it's such an amazing book! And thank YOU! Honestly can't remember the last time I felt so bowled over by a book. Just what I needed at the right time. New favourite author/gay icon? Absolutely 💛

Can't lie, it really gave me so many confidence boosts, too! Gaywise and authorwise 😅

Yet I didn't choose to reply to anyone who posted about enjoying the Gavin & Stacey episode with an arsey question. It's almost as if I'm allowed to not enjoy things and have an opinion on the writing of sitcoms I have loved since I was a child, as a viewer and as a writer myself.

Thank god for Outnumbered delivering an actually not terrible comeback

Anyway I'm obsessed and I hope that one day I find my Noah, and that my books might be on a shelf near Jack Strange's in the future.

Doctor Who was meh (tho that's on Moffat as per - definitely not Ncuti)

Wallace & Gromit was dull af

Gavin & Stacey was crap (tho I'm not a fan of old people moaning they can't be bigots anymore, and "plots" of just old references)

Also thank god for Ncuti, Nicola and Steph de Whalley's (Anita) acting for making that worth it at all
