Every Reason Why I Hate AI and You Should Too maybe it's anti-innovation, maybe it's just avoiding hype. But one thing is clear, I'm completely done with hearing about AI.

This is brutal but brilliant by @malwaretech.com .

I managed to use PowerShell to just about make the data readable - required a bit of imagination using -replace against a string variable - but it still looks horrible. Why can't they just provide a csv of the data?

Me looking at my customer dashboard for a very big Internet security firm:
Weird, I can export a user list but not a device list for our estate. Annoying.

Said firm:
Oh yeah, that's by design. But here's how to use our API.

Me after battling the API for a day:
It works, but the data looks awful.

The Beano Comic was 87 Years Old a couple of days ago! I have been a member of the Dennis the Menace Fan Club since 1977, and I still have my membership card and badges! A couple of years ago Penny got me a Dennis Tie too!

Woah I had no idea! They've also written their own version of psexec which triggers every AV product (remcom.exe I think).

I've only ever used Endpoint Central to any great extent but it rarely seems to do what I want, and when it does it's so obscure.

Imho, I have absolutely no idea how Manage Engine are still in business. I find Endpoint Central to be the most counter-intuitive, difficult, obtuse management system I've ever used. I could honestly do the majority of what I use EC for far faster with VNC, Excel and PowerShell.

16 billion accounts exposed in one of the largest data breaches in history β€” enormous data haul holds two accounts for every human alive Another major security event acts as a stark reminder to regularly change passwords and login credentials.

Interesting decision by Tom's Hardware to bang the "change your passwords frequently" drum just as the entire rest of the IT security industry is advising changing passwords only inthe case of a known breach.

I honestly don't know why ManageEngine Endpoint Central is so popular. It drives me up the wall - non-intuitive, archaic and provides unreliable data that doesn't seem to match the real world.

How a race for electric vehicles threatens a marine paradise Photographs appear to show how nickel mining damaged one the world's most diverse marine environments

Ignoring bias confirmation, this is one reason why I've thought for ages that putting batteries into pedal bikes and scooters is really stupid -all you're doing is increasing demand for batteries. People aren't swapping cars for battery bikes & scooters, they have both.
