Looking for a good vampire novel. Let The Right One In wont disappoint. It’s one of my go to horror recommendations. I do have to give a trigger/ content warning for pedophilia committed by the antagonist. But 10/10 would recommend.

Even though I have to take a hopefully quick break from the cage, I’m still going with the library/book tour.
Today we have Better Sweaters by Mari Dembrow. As a crocheter and knitter, I’m always trying to learn new things.
Unfortunately I had to unlock. Was experiencing irritation and some soreness. Going to give it a week and see . Fingers crossed 🤞🏿 for a quick lock back up.

Today from my library I give you, The Shining by Stephen King. While the Stanley Kubrick movie is a chief kiss in my opinion. I like the book a hair’s breadth more. If you’ve only seen the movie I recommend the book.

Today’s books are The Thief of Always and The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker. If you enjoy Coraline then you’ll like The Thief of Always. Horror movie fans will like The Hellbound Heart as the 1987 Hellraiser is based on it. Both are nice short reads.

Today’s book is one of my favorites since middle school, Dracula by Bram Stoker. This is one of three versions of this book that I own. Dracula was the first book that made me realize reading can be fun and was an introduction to horror.

going to do a bookshelf tour, starting with The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Illustrated by Alan Lee. A deluxe hardcover three volume edition from William Morrow. If you love Tolkien, fantasy, or want to get into fantasy I recommend The Lord of the Rings.
