Another book I also read recently and really enjoyed (it was actually v funny considering subject matter) was "Fundamentally".

Literally just finished this earlier today, have been trying to finish it for ages, not because it's not good it's really good (so many really great Irish authors at the mo) but because it's just such tough subject matter, I needed to kind of take breaks between reading it.

Omg that's so early Orla, when I worked in the addiction services I used ti start at 7 and it was about a 40 min drive from where I lived so I used to have to get uo around this time felt like getting up in the middle of the night. Dunno how all these gym bunny ppl get up at 4 to excercise 😂

It's prob full of typos & was part of a larger piece of writing but made it into a short story. @omgitsagirl2015.bsky.social I did a bit of work on this short story 😊 thank you for your editorial eye last time.
