This year, Rijeka added a new Advent location right on the quay at the port- such a cozy spot! Still, nothing beats the magic of Trsat Castle for me.

Switched to light mode on all my devices for the first time in two years. Guess I’m feeling the light winter vibes this season!

After 6 months of frustration, I finally fixed my AirPods! The right earbud was so much quieter than the left, and I thought I’d never figure it out. But today… victory! They’re back to sounding perfect. Who else has had this struggle?

Just finished watching the first episode of HBO’s new Dune series, and wow… it feels like Game of Thrones, but in space! Not here to play the ‘but the book was different’ game—just saying the vibe is intense, and honestly? It’s pretty good. I’m into it. Have you watched it yet?

Snow in November? ❄️ In our subtropical region, this is such a rare sight! Last year, we only saw snow once in February, but this year, winter seems to have arrived early. What’s next? More surprises from the weather? 🌨️ Let me know how it looks in your area!

I moved to Threads after it opened in the EU... But I wonder if there is still life in Bluesky? I think there is... I'll stay monitoring....

All IT offices are concentrated in the capital. Which is understandable from the point of view of sales people. But it's a huge mystery to me why, after covid, the capital is still a centre for technical people (and why companies don't develop more convenient and cheaper locations for them).

Zagreb is a typical capital of a small country. Quite developed in terms of infrastructure, but still not much to do there.

Context: I live in a medium-sized town in Croatia, between the sea and the mountains. It's not touristy, but all the infrastructure is there. I work remotely for a huge outsourcing company with an office in Zagreb.

I would like to talk a bit about the IT market from the employees' point of view. The following will be a few thoughts, which I will try to fit into separate posts.
